PAUL REDSTONE is a chartered surveyor with 30 years of experience in real estate, particularly in retail investment and development. He is experienced at building genuine relationships with key stakeholders (including local authorities and other public land ownership bodies).

 

Over the past 10 years, he has worked at U+I Group Plc (originally Development Securities Plc) on numerous regeneration projects. His most recent project was Mill Green Designer Outlet Village in Cannock where he secured planning permission and funding for the £130m, 300,000 sqft scheme. Construction is to start shortly, with the work targeted for completion in April 2020. Other recent projects Paul has worked on include regeneration schemes in Brighton, Crawley, Worthing and Brentwood, all in close collaboration with the respective local authorities.

 

For the previous 10 years, he was a senior Director at CBRE where he acted as Principal Investment and Development adviser to several core company clients within the retail sector. Key transactions over this period included advice to CBREi on fund structuring, specific property acquisitions/sales totalling circa £100m and overall portfolio management advice for their retail portfolio. He also advised Hermes and the Junction Fund on structuring £100m retail park JVs and provided development advice on over £500m of retail park funding throughout the UK.

 

Paul recently joining Rivington Land as a consultant/non exec and now provides financial structuring and investment advice to Rivington Land’s clients.
